The protection of asphalt driveways and parking lots is very important way to save money while keeping the asphalt looking new .When left untreated the sun will damage the tar which is the glue that holds the asphalt together causing lose of stones and cracking .

When it rains the water soaks the asphalt which over time seeps into the base weakling it ,which results in cracking and sunken broken area’s .Those repairs cost more than just having the asphalt sealed .When a  client has left his asphalt to the weather and has some wide cracks .We recomend having those cracks filled with Hot Rubber Crack Filler .This compound expands and contracts with the movement of the asphalt ,so the repair lasts longer than cold based crack fillers.

The Blackmac sealer we use has a 6-24 hour cure rate , depending on weather conditions which results in the driveway being used much faster than with other sealers .

We always clean any debris from the asphalt driveway before applying the seal coating .

When comparing the cost of re-asphalting the driveway or parking lot  verses  sealing and crack repairing .The sealing wins hands down .
